Jim Downs - Founding Director

Jim Downs has been investing in property for over twenty years. He has held management positions at LJ Hooker, Raine and Horne, Elders Real Estate and P.R.D. During this time he has developed a successful method of investing in property that all R.E.I.N. clients can now benefit from.

Jim is passionate about teaching people how to invest. He runs R.E.I.N.'s seminars and briefings, holds one-on-one consultations and with over 20 years comprehensive experience within the real estate investors industry, he is now well known as one of Australia's most respected property commentators and advisers.

Jim's book - "Appreciating Assets - An Australian guide to creating wealth and keeping it", a 'must read' for every investor.

Jim loves helping beginners get started. If you have never invested - you really will benefit from attending one of Jim's seminars.

Jenny Robbie - Licensee in Charge

Jenny has the enviable task of researching potential property developments in Sydney and is ultimately responsible for the selection of these properties for the clients of R.E.I.N. She is now well known in the industry for her expert knowledge in this area. Jenny works closely with Jim Downs to advise him on Sydney's 'Best Buys' for his clients at R.E.I.N.

Jenny commenced her Real Estate career as Licensee in Charge of LJ Hooker Wahroonga in Sydney in 1989. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from Sydney University and is a Licensed Real Estate agent.

Cheryl Martin - Administration Assistant

Starting in May 2007 Cheryl is the newest edition to the R.E.I.N. team. Responsible for being the first impression of the company, Cheryl not only takes calls and greets clients, but also is privy to the sales process - providing support to Kevin, the Sales Coordinator. Coming from a sales background within Health and Fitness, Cheryl is rapidly learning about the real estate industry and since has taken a future interest in investing.

Kevin Reeve - Sales Co-ordinator

Kevin joined R.E.I.N. in July 2003 as the Team Co-ordinator and since then has been promoted to Sales Co-ordinator. He has gained valuable experience in office administration having worked for Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu for 2 years prior to starting.

Kevin is effectively the link in the chain to co-ordinate all parties through the process from reserving a property up until exchange of contracts. He deals with numerous parties including: the customer's solicitor, mortgage brokers, developers, deposit bonds, our customers and Jim Downs to make the purchase of an investment property as effortless and stress free as possible.

Without Kevin property transactions would involve many professionals working as individuals, he ensures unity in diversity.

At the young age of 21 and only 6 months into his position at R.E.I.N. Kevin approached his parents about using the equity in their home for a deposit. He was nervous and apprehensive at first but after the help he received from R.E.I.N. he is now building himself a very secure future and now has the confidence to be looking into buying his third investment property!

Cathy Wu – Accounts

Cathy joined R.E.I.N. in January 2007.  She will be responsible for all accounts work including debitor/creditor control, sales analysis, cash flow, financial forecasting, and financial reports, etc.  Cathy has had solid Corporate Accounting work experience in some of Australia’s blue chip companies such as GIO, AAMI and The Crane Group Ltd.  Cathy has continued her studies in the pursuit of a Degree in Accounting. Cathy has already become one of REIN’s valuable team members.

“I have definitely made the right choice in joining R.E.I.N. this year.  I’m really looking forward to extending my career in the company and building my own wealth through property investment.  I didn’t understand the concept of property investment before joining R.E.I.N. and am excited to apply the principles I have learned.   I’m planning to purchase a property before June this year and would like to take this opportunity to encourage others to take charge of their future, too”

Chris Brack

Chris joined R.E.I.N. in January 2007 after spending 5 years working with the company on a consultancy basis. Chris has worked in the financial services industry for the last 15 years in the field of equities and managed funds and has been actively trading in the share market since 1984. His last position was as a Senior Partner with the Fitzpatrick’s Group, a boutique fund manager in Sydney.

Chris’s role within R.E.I.N. is to continue training and educating investors on the R.E.I.N. system through property seminars, and one on one consultations with new and existing customers.

Already on his way to building his own portfolio of property, Chris plans to purchase his 3rd and 4th property during the 2007 year.

Chris holds a degree in Psychology, Science and Technology and a post graduate degree in Applied Finance.
